Staying Focused When Unable To Go Fishing

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

By Chris Curley Unless you have a tournament you just cant miss, or youve found a way to enclose your bass boat with one-bys and visquene, I suggest (and this may sound funny) do some studying. Watch some fishing shows. I would suggest a few good ones, however chances are you already know the ones Im thinking of. Plus, I dont want to offend anyone by not mentioning their favorite show here. (or certain T.V. personalities either) Check your local listings for dates and times. All of em are great ways of gettin your fishin fix on. And they all have great tips and tricks. Each one usually covers something different than the others. However, someone needs to cover the Midwest (um, say, Indiana) rather than Texas and Florida all of the time. For some reason no-one seems to think that the Midwest is worth taking the time to discover. Bygones. Obviously, getting your tackle and gear ready for the next trip is another way of staying focused. However, there are only so many times you can re-string reels, re-arrange lures and wipe down the boat. Check the library or your local tackle store (if its open) for some literature on some fishing topic or technique you may not know much about. Not to insult anybodys intelligence here, Im just sayin everybody could use some culture now and then. Look for an area fishing map/guide book. These are undoubtedly one of the greatest additions to any anglers arsenal. Filled with contour fishing maps, local fishing information, access and accommodations, most offer GPS grids on the maps now. If youre into that sort of thing. As far as getting out and this may also be obvious, keep your eye open for the next boat and tackle show in your area. Its fun for the whole family, yeah maybe you dad and the boy. (or tom-boy) Though there are some women that are into fishing as much as men most could care less, so try to find one thats going on the same time as the home and garden show. Just a suggestion for you family guys. (or gals) Boat and tackle shows are great places to bone-up on the latest info on just about every aspect of fishing you can think of. You can get approved for a new boat, find out how to use a certain lure or piece of tackle successfully and get the kids (and even the spouse) out of the house all in one day. These shows usually offer workshops on new methods and techniques also. They generally have a kids area where the young uns can learn a thing or three about the great outdoors, oh yeah and fishing too. Venders get to show of there wares and everyone gets to stretch their legs a bit. Fun, Fun, Fun!!! Plus, you get to drool on some awesome boats at the same time. You might try your favorite or not so favorite big box outdoor store. Sometimes they hold angling shows. Generally these can be better because theyre not as crowded and you can get more of a one-on-one feel for the product or technique you might have a question about. Practicing isnt out of the question either if your side arm or pitching method lacks a bit. I like to stand in the living room and cast down the hall, or out on the deck (which is like standing on a dock) and casting out into the yard, which is particularly good for distance. I practice with the type of lures that I usually use out on the lake, except without a hook or hooks. The hall is especially great for honing your accuracy. Although, take care for hitting the walls, that may get you put on the couch. However, that could get you more time to practice time. Just kiddin. So instead of trying to paint a mural of your favorite fishing spot on the living room wall, (Huh, thats not a bad idea) look for some ways to tighten up your skills while youre locked up so to speak. And as always, happy thoughts and good fishin to ya. Chris Curley lives in Indianapolis, IN. with his dogs Puranah and Princess and his cat Sylvester. Hypnosis - A Valuable Medical Tool!

Monday, August 27th, 2007

By Gabriel J. Adams We are all familiar with the kind of hypnosis seen in Las Vegas shows, but we are only slightly familiar with medical hypnosis. Medical hypnosis isn’t all that new, though. The British Medical Association recognized the value of hypnosis in medical treatments as early as 1955. The American Medical Association followed suit in 1958. For use in psychological therapy, the American Psychiatric Association acknowledged its potential in 1962. Now, hypnosis as a valuable medical tool has been fairly well established, though it is not fully understood how or why it works. There is still a lot of research being done to determine just how extensive its usefulness is. The number of diseases and conditions it has the potential to aid treatment of grows continually. There is a rather long list of things that are known to be helped by hypnotherapy. Some of the most common are weight loss, quitting smoking, stress management, motivation, self-esteem and pain management. For all of these, the process is pretty much the same. An altered state of consciousness is induced that brings the patient to a higher state of suggestibility. The desired suggestion is made and then the patient returns to a normal state of consciousness. This is a rather simplistic description but it gets the point across. Many people think of being under hypnosis as being in a trance or waking sleep-like state. The truth is that you are more likely to be more focused. You are going to be more open to things like suggestion and be less disbelieving or critical. Being in a more focused state of mind helps in the suggestions necessary to treat the pertinent condition. If the condition being treated is quitting smoking, you are going to be able to incorporate the suggestions of aversion to smoking and affirmations of positive replacements better than if you were in a normal, less focused state on mind. In pain management, this ability to focus is useful in taking a measure of the pain and then reducing its severity with strong relaxation methods. With repeated practice, it is possible to stop more pain each time. Hypnosis has shown itself to be very effective to ease labor pains during childbirth, thus reducing stress for both the mother and the infant. Hypnosis works well for weight control, too. Through hypnosis, the appetite can be more easily controlled. Suggestions can also be made to make healthier food choices, too. Since being overweight also carries self-esteem problems, these can be addressed, as well. In fact, addressing this problem along with the other issues in weight loss makes the therapy more effective since low self-esteem is self-defeating. These are just a few of the medical uses of hypnosis. There are many more and new ways of using hypnosis in medicine are being studied and researched. It is possible that, as more uses are found, the more invasive medical procedures will become easier to tolerate and even less necessary. Job Interview Basics: Personal Questions

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

By Shaun Stevens Of all the questions you’ll be asked, personal and family ones appear to be the most “statistical.” For this reason, most jobseekers answer them in a “static” way, with “name, rank, and serial number.”They’re also often emotionally charged, since interviewers ask about personal perils, family feuds, and status symbols. Therefore, rehearsing your lines is particularly important, since what you say is as important as what you convey. While most of the questions in this area have only marginal value in determining your qualifications to perform a specific job, you must get past them so you can get down to business with the interviewer. That’s why they’re called KO factors. Wrong answers will knock you out in Round 1; right ones will keep you in the ring for a while.Personal and family items are invariably at the top of resumes, on the front of application forms, and at the beginning of interview checklists. Since these are the “cue cards” used in the actual interview, expect the questions in Act 1, Round 1. “First impressions really count” (and they really do to overworked people who are interviewing), this is your chance to shine. Most film critics will tell you they lock into a review within five minutes. If they watch longer, it’s either to enjoy the show or to justify their negative rating. That’s why lawyers often see judges writing their decisions from the bench soon after the opening statements. Yours will, too. Your judge is overworked. Then greet the interviewer with the Magic Four Hellos: 1.) Smile. If you can’t fake it, just think about how lucky the interviewer is to be meeting you. 2.) Direct eye contact. If it’s too much for you, look at the bridge of the interviewer’s nose. 3.) Introduce yourself. Say, “Hi, I’m (first name) (last name). It’s a pleasure meeting you.” 4)A firm but gentle handshake. Rehearse. No live shark; no dead flounder. Then, once you’re on the road”. Head for the chair on your favored side (right if you are right-handed, etc.) If you’re ambidextrous, you can take center stage. Just be sure there’s a chair behind you. Stand there until you’re asked to be seated. Basically most managers copy their bosses training, style and procedures (or lack thereof). There is little originality in interview questions. The same questions are repeated in interviews ad infinitum. The problem is that once you are hired all your wonderful traits are forgotten. It simply becomes You had better work your ass off or you will lose your job.” Standard Interview Questions on Personal and Family: 1.) What are your parents’ occupations? 2.) Do you live with your parents? 3.) Do you own or rent your home? 4.) How far do you live from this company? 5.) Do you speak a foreign language especially French or Spanish? 6.) How much time do you spend with your family ? 7.) In your opinion, what makes a happy?marriage 8.) Who is the boss in your family? 9.) Is your spouse employed? Will there be a conflict ? 10.) What contributed to your divorce? What haveyou learned from this experience? 11.) Describe your relationship with your children. 12.) What child care arrangements have been made for your children? 13.) Do you keep and follow a personal budget? 14.) Do you balance your chequebook on a regular basis? 15.) Do you own a life insurance policy? 16.) Do you have a savings plan? 17.) Are you in debt? 18.) How large is your visa bill? 19.) Do you pay off your charge card bills every month? 20.) Have you ever been refused a bond? 21.) Do you have a valid driver’s license 22.) Have you ever had a driver’s license revoked? Why? 23) Are you a Team Player? 24 ) You look like a person on the ball” Where do you see yourself in time period - 1 year, 2 years etc? 25) How do you see yourself fitting in our organization? As previously mentioned most interviewers have little or no originality in theirInterview skills and procedures. All they generally do is copy the standard questions that have been commonly asked. Little originality if at all. The trick is to plan and anticipate your answers to the se “vital” questions in order that you past musterin order to get the job and income involved. Standard practice is to have 3 interviews 1) Interview one is the first step - basic screening 2) Interview 2 is a bit more serious - You have passed step one - If they are thorough they may have called your references 3) Interview 3 is usually by a team or another member of the team” A more senior person or even just another person in the organization will interview you. Although the reason for this will be claimed to be to add in additional expertise and experience into this vital hiring procedure the real reason is to spread the responsibility so that no one person can be blamed if you don’t work out “. Remember none of these questions need be answered by you. However you take the risk of offending the interviewer (and their interview skills and thus ending your chances for employment and income from that firm).Note that a number of the questions may be totally incongruous , that is inconsistent and incompatible. Best not to laugh. For example the interviewer may ask if you are a self starter, take responsibility and make your own decisions and then ask leading questionsTo ask if find out if you are the type that always follows company procedure without question. Or they may ask questions to verify that you always consider the company’s needs and wants as most important and then ask questions to verify that That a customer should never question the company’s policy on returns or extended warranties”. When the interviewer goes to great length to explain that the company has a great focus for team players it is not a good idea to point out that being a team player is not always a good thing. That the interview questions have focused on identifying you as a self starter who takes charge. And besides that it is true that the Sept 11 hijackers were good Team Players. Lastly two points - One very intelligent manager’s hiring guideline was that when he took out a serious candidate to lunch he watched if the candidate salted his soup before tasting it. The manager wanted people in his organization who checked things out before jumping to act. If you get an interviewer who asks original thought provoking questions in your interview take quick note. For example if the manager asks a question such as It is 4:55 pm. A customer is considering buying an expensive item which the store has had on hand for some time and has not sold. The customer is very interested in this item. Has phoned their spouse for their ok.The phone call is going to be returned for approval at 5:15. What do you do? Take note - this is a very smart person in an organization which may well be very good to work for. The Wedding Invitations Reflects The First Impression About Your Wedding

Thursday, August 23rd, 2007

By Alma Lazarevich Finally, the big day is getting closer. You are only a few months away from your wedding and every detail counts. Of course, you want a gorgeous bridal gown, the most beautiful flower arrangements, a simply exquisite cake and the list seems to be endless, but, have you ever thought that the first impression of a beautiful wedding will be reflected through your invitations? You obviously wish things would be simpler, you wish you could go back to those days when wedding announcements were just that, something pretty, nothing special, but the truth is, times have changed. Its unbelievable how many hundreds of styles and choices there are: from a simple cute plain card, to the most sophisticated embossed, big size invitation with double hard and soft embossed envelopes monogram seals covered with gold or silver leaf monogram seals over a sheet of thin wood painted with powder of mother pearl, surrounded by a string of pearls doubled panel cards with sheer satin windows all kinds of hand made papers all kinds of imported papers from Italy, Holland, France, India, Mexico, Philippines. And regarding accents, what about those beautiful satin or silk ribbons to enhance the beauty of an invitation? But, wait a minute. Did I say ribbons? Watch out bridesalways keep in mind that there are two persons involved in the wedding announcements, the bride and the groom. Ribbons are very romantic, but try to be conservative regarding bows; you dont want your invitation to look feminine with a bow that takes the focus away from the announcement. When you select ribbons, make sure that they will be very discreet and still will look pretty but not too feminine, think about the groom also and make sure that he also will feel proud rather than embarrassed of his wedding invitations. As I mentioned before, there are hundreds of styles to choose from, remember that you have a great advantage when you deal directly with a designer instead of ordering from a catalog, because the designer will have a lot of suggestions regarding what you both as a couple would like and will try to make something personalized, something very special for you both. Safety Tips for Common Power Tools

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

By Debbie Johnston When using power tools, safety is the most important thing to consider. Using power tools correctly and safely will ensure the safety of you and anyone else around you. Different power tools gave different procedures to make sure that they are operating safely. The router is a great tool for shaping wood quickly and cleanly. However, there are several things to keep in mind when using a router. Test out the router on a piece of scrap metal to make sure that it is of the proper depth. If the router is too deep or not deep enough, you will ruin the wood, and potentially harm yourself. Be sure to keep the bit away from the wood when you first start the router. When the router comes up to speed, firmly grip the handle and move the bit slowly and carefully into the object you are working on. Reciprocating saws are used for cutting all kinds of materials, renovating and dismantling structures, and opening up walls. Naturally, this heavy-duty tool should be used with precaution. Holding the reciprocating saw with both hands when using it is a must. It is very powerful and has the ability to pull very hard on the user. The blades for this type of saw range from 6 inches to 12 inches. The blades can break, so have extras, and be careful with the blades when you are finished with the saw because the blades heat up tremendously while being used. The power miter saw is also called a chop saw. It is used to make crisp, quick, and accurate cuts. It is often used on carpentry or picture framing. While in use, this saw should be raised off of the ground (this can be done with two-by-fours). It should be raised because the chips of wood that fall out of the machine can pile up and clog it if it is not elevated. Check the blade guard of the saw, and be sure to be cutting on a sturdy surface. Finally, there are some general safety tips that can be applied to all power tools. Always wear goggles. This tip cannot be stressed enough. Eye injuries are very common when working with power tools, so always protect your eyes. Read all instructions thoroughly. All power tools have their little quirks. Read the instructions and learn the proper way to use the power tool. Follow warning labels. This may seem like a simple safety tip, but many people ignore warnings (for example: they stand on the very top of the ladder, and fall over). Finally, be very careful and eliminate distractions whenever possible. Following these few tips should help you be safer when using any kind of power tool. The One Word That Will Take You From Plain Jane to Turning Heads At A Rate That Is Insane!

Monday, August 20th, 2007

By Dwayne Pressley Well actually three words, color, color, color!!! I remember the world renowned, salon owner and entrepreneur, John Amico, once told me he is HAPPILY married, Never cheats on his wife, yet he comes home with 5 different women a year! How does he do it? With color (he colors his wifes hair 4-5 times a year) and he says each time show looks like anew woman!!! One of the keys to looking “stunning” with color is getting colors that blend well with your eyes and your skin tone. When this occurs your hair color(s) will not look so “man made-ish” and the hair color(s) you choose will not only compliment you, but also look very natural. When taking color into consideration keep in mind there are different “types” to choose from. You have temporary, semi-permanent, demi-permanent, and permanent hair color. *Temporary Hair Color- is just that, temporary. It is good to use if your permanent color ever starts to fade, between your color appointments. *Semi-Permanent Hair Color- was created to last anywhere from 6 - 8 shampoos. I must admit that some product lines are stronger than this and I have witnessed a few semi-permanent colors almost as strong as some permanent hair color(s). *Demi-Permanent Hair Color- was designed to be gentle on the hair. This would be an excellent option for African American women wanting color (and currently relaxing their hair). Even though they do not lighten hair, they can become permanent, so keep in mind that shampooing your hair will not remove demi-permanent hair color. *Permanent Hair Color: will permanently change the natural color of your hair by either making it lighter or darker. There are also different factors to take into consideration as well, when choosing your hair color. Like: *The season. The colors that look best on you inlets saythe spring, will not look the best on you…during wintertime. *How “drastic” of a change you want to make. The farther you go from your natural color, the more the color will be noticed. *All over color, vs. highlights. Living in Florida, there is no question which one I love the best…(you guessed it) highlights!!! Where Does Acupuncture Originate From?

Monday, August 20th, 2007

By Kerris Samson Acupuncture originates from the Latin words for Needle (acus) and Prick (pungere) or Zhen jiu (Standard Mandarin) and is the technique of inserting and manipulating needles into the various acupuncture points found on our bodies. According to the teachings of acupuncture the use of these techniques will help to restore a persons health and well being as well as particularly very good for treating pain. It is thought that acupuncture originates from China and it is certainly most commonly associated in todays society with Traditional Chinese medicine. However there are other forms of acupuncture such as Japanese, Korean as well as the classical Chinese Acupuncture which are taught and practiced around the globe. Whether the use of acupuncture is an effective remedy or that patients think it is effective seems to be subject to scientific research. However scientists who have already conducted reviews according to the rules of evidence based medicine on clinical trials already carried out have that it has some benefits in treating headaches, lower back pain and nausea, but in respect of most other conditions they feel that there is insufficient evidence to say whether it is effective or not. You will also find not only the World Health Organisation (WHO), American Medical Association (AMA), National Institute of Health (NIH) as well as various governments have commented on the use of acupuncture but that further research is required. However, the one that all can seem to agree on is that the use of acupuncture is safe as long as it is administered by a well trained and qualified practitioner. When looking back on the history of acupuncture it can be traced back in China as far back as the 1st Millennium BC and there is archaeological evidence where it was used during the Han Dynasty (202 BC to 220AD). There have also been forms of it described in Korean literature called Chimsul and is also an important part of the traditional medicine system in Japan and is called Kampo. During the recent examination of a 5,000 year old mummy (Otzi) found in the Alps it was discovered that the mummy had over 50 tattoos on its body and some of these were located on various acupuncture points that would now days be used to treat certain ailments that Otzi seemed to suffer from. Some scientists even believe that this provides us with evidence that practices were carried out similar to acupuncture elsewhere in Eurasia during the Bronze Age period. But unfortunately there is no evidence to prove that the tattoos on Otzis body were used as acupuncture points or they were just a decoration. It is uncertain that acupuncture originates in China as the earliest medical texts found (68BC) do not have any mention of this form of treatment. The first real Chinese medical text to mention acupuncture comes from the Yellow Emperors Classic of Internal Medicine (History of Acupuncture) which compiled around the period 305-204BC. There has also been the discovery of hieroglyphics dating back to around 1,000BC which may indicate the use of acupuncture also. Another thing which seems to suggest that the Chinese were not the first to use acupuncture is the discovery of sharp pointed stones (Bian stones) in ruins which were used to treat diseases in ancient times. Some people (scholars) believe that the use of these stones for bloodletting was a precursor to certain acupuncture techniques. In fact in a book written by R C Crozier (Traditional Medicine in Modern China) it says that the early Chinese Communist Party had expressed considerable aversion towards many classical forms of Chinese medicine, deriding it as mumbo jumbo, irrational and backwards and that it conflicted with the Partys reliance on science as a way of progress. Acupuncture was certainly included in the Partys criticism of all such practices. But later on the Communist Party Chairman Mao then reversed what the party had been saying by saying that Chinese medicine and pharmacology are the greatest treasure house and efforts should be made to explore them and raise them to a higher level. Following this reversal representatives were sent out across China from the party to collect information on the theories and practices of Chinese medicine, thus the TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) system of Chinese medicine was created and includes the use of Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, tui na and other forms. However, after the Cultural Revolution the instruction of TCM was incorporated in to the University medical curricula throughout China under the Three Roads policy. This is where TCM, biomedicine and a synthesis of the two would be encouraged and development permitted. But unfortunately after this time some forms of classical Chinese medicine other than TCM where outlawed and because of this a number of practitioners of these methods left China. It is thought that the first forms of acupuncture to reach the USA were brought into the country by non-TCM practitioners and many employed styles of acupuncture that they had been handed down through the family or from master to apprentice, and is collectively known as Classical Chinese Acupuncture. Kid Birthday Party Invitations - 12 Things You Must Include

Saturday, August 18th, 2007

By Mike Dougherty Why do you send birthday party invitations? Do YOUR invitations get people to your party? If you’re like most people, when you send out invitations for your child’s upcoming birthday party, you worry (at least a little) that no one will show up. And if no one shows up for your child’s special day, your child’s heart will be broken. And that’s not a fun way to spend your birthday. Why do we send invitations? This may seem like a silly question, but it isn’t. We really have to understand the goal if we ever hope to accomplish the goal. And the goal of a birthday party invitation is? To get everyone that’s invited to your party! Sounds simple enough. But who are we inviting? Well for your child’s birthday, you’re inviting their friends. And their friends are children. And how do you invite those children? By sending a birthday invitation to them by way of their parents. So how do you get the parents of the children you’ve invited to make sure their children go to your party? The secret to success is the information in your invitations. You’d be surprised how often people make simple mistakes on their invitation by forgetting to include all the information parents need. Make it EASY for them to RSVP and have their children at your party. Kid Birthday Party Invitations - Your number one priority Get your invitations out early In this fast-paced world of ours, where family and kid’s activities have everyone (including you) going in 6 different directions at once, you HAVE to give folks time to put this important event on their calendars. What Information You Must Include Tell them it’s a birthday party The invitation headline should tell them it’s a kid birthday party invitation. Give them your child’s FIRST and LAST NAME If you just use your child’s first name, they may have another friend with the same name, so make it easy for them by using your child’s first and last name. Mention how old your child will be This is very helpful for anyone that wants to get your child a birthday gift. Give the DAY and DATE of your party Make it easy for the other parents to check their own calendars. The TIME YOUR PARTY STARTS Is your party before, during or after lunch? The TIME YOUR PARTY ENDS This is very important for a number of reasons. By stating what time your party ends, you will avoid being stuck with a house full of kids bouncing off your walls, waiting for a parent to pick them up (and rescue you). Party Location Where is your party going to be? At your home, a local park, restaurant, fire department, ball park or? And remember to include the street address, name of the street and apartment number. You should also include a simple map. If it’s a location other than your home, include a contact phone number or your cell phone number. What type of party is it? Are having a theme party? What is your theme? Are your guests encouraged to wear theme related costumes? Are you serving a meal, snacks, or just cake and ice cream? Parents need to know if their child should have lunch before going to the party. Parents with children who are diabetic will need to let you know if they’re child can have treats or not. An RSVP phone number and when they must RSVP If you really want parents to RSVP, you need to give them a deadline. State that they must RSVP by a certain date. If you’re party is going to be in a restaurant, let them know, so they will understand that you have to give the restaurant the expected number of guests. Make sure you include an RSVP phone number. How Much Is Your Popcorn Worth? Powerful Lessons In Marketing & The Psychology Of Selling - Part 1

Thursday, August 16th, 2007

By Ian Canaway In the following ’special report,’ I will reveal some very powerful marketing strategies and psychological motivators that can easily help you make more profits from your business, no matter what business you’re in. Be sure to read it thoroughly, and take notes as needed so that you can take maximum advantage of the information being covered. Here’s how it all began One day, I noticed an interesting marketing concept. So, I sent my subscribers an interesting question. Here’s what I sent to them… ———————————— “If you had to sell popcorn, how much would you be able to charge for it? Most of us would be willing to spend around one to two dollars on it. And I’m talking about a nice sized bag. But, here’s something interesting… Movie theatres charge 3 to 6 dollars for their popcorn! And you don’t even get nearly as much popcorn as you’d get elsewhere! What’s the deal? Is their popcorn “special?” Not really. But they’re still able to charge 2 to 3 times more than others and still have people buying in droves. How are they doing it?? If you can answer that, I’ll give you a special prize. :-) Just reply to this note with your answer. It doesn’t have to be the right answer, as long as you stop to think about it.”———————————— Within minutes of sending the email out, the responses started pouring in Some were extremely short and to the point, with statements like… “Because they can” or “It’s the smell” or “Because people get hungry.” Yes, some people do get hungry and have to buy ’something.’ But that’s not the bulk of the buyers by any means. And…if they get hungry and are forced to pay the high prices, they mostly likely will not want to be caught in that situation again, will they? And, yes, some do buy it because they can’t resist the smell. But there’s more to it than that. Other answers said, “It’s the perfect location” “Supply and demand” “Captive audience.” Another answer stated… “Monopoly! You can’t bring anything into the theatre and once you are in, there is no where else to purchase popcorn.” That’s not necessarily a wrong answer. But, it does make one wonder… If they corner their customers in this way and charge them high prices, wouldn’t most customers be either outraged not to buy, or at least not buy again, in the future? The question that comes up is… why do they continue to buy it and pay these outrageous prices? Another subscriber suggested… “People don’t go to see the movies everyday. So, they are willing to pay the high prices once per weekend.” Sure, that’s possible. Although, I think at some point, they’d get tired of having to pay the high prices, wouldn’t you say? They can’t be paying the high prices just because they ‘have to.’ It’s gotta be because they ‘want to.’ But, why would they want to, despite the outrageous prices? Could it be that price just isn’t an issue in this case? Hmm One subscriber started a discussion in his office, and sent these responses… “Some said it’s because it’s the only place you can get “Movie theatre” popcorn, some said because the taste or when they smell it - they have to have it. Others said because they have to be eating something. My thought is because they have the market trained. And, it didn’t start with this generation… Parents brought their kids to the movies and either by example or verbally trained the kids to buy popcorn at the movies - It’s just what you do…” Ahh… now we’re getting somewhere. ;-) To read the rest of this special report, you can download it here: http://www.trafficstrategiesonsteroids.com/popcorn.pdf (Feel free to use this article online and in your email newsletters as long as you leave it intact and do not alter it in anyway.
