Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

By Scott Patterson Here’s a tip that’s not for the weak of heart… During your dating life, you’ll be going out with a variety of women. In fact, your goal is to establish yourself as a higher status guy who provides women with fun experiences. In order to do this, you have to show her that she should value the time that you spend together. The best way to establish this is try this technique After you’ve gone on few dates with a woman, you’ve probably built up enough attraction and chemistry. Now if you REALLY want to build up heightened levels of attraction, then you should do this: Break your third or fourth date! Although this technique might seem counterintuitive, I can tell you purposefully breaking a date is a great way to increase her level of interest in you. Here’s why… According to the ‘Scarcity Principle’, taking something away from a person will make them more interested. Breaking a follow-up date does the same thing with a woman. It makes her wonder if you’re REALLY interested in her. By sowing a little bit of doubt, she’ll try to work harder for your affections. Just remember a few things about this technique: Breaking a date can be a slightly disrespectful way to treat a woman. So if you decide to follow my advice, then recommend that you follow these 3 simple rules: 1) Cancel NO LATER then two days before the date. That way, she can make other plans. 2) Tell her that you can’t make it today, but you still want to go out on another day 3) DON’T go out to a public place where you might be caught by her. If you break a date, then go out with your buddies to a local bar you’ll might risk bumping into her Breaking a date is a sneaky thing to do to a woman. But if you’re interesting in establishing higher status, then I would recommend trying it one time. Want to learn 50 different ways for meeting, approaching and attracting women? Different Types of Koi

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Danielle Robinson If you are looking forward to buying a Japanese koi fish then you might already know that there are many varieties to the koi fish. They can come in many different styles and colors but one thing remains the same in all of them, they are all equally beautiful. There are over 17 different varieties with each one having their own patterns, colors, and designs. Which can make the process for buying a koi fish quite confusing because you might not know exactly which style to purchase. Well this article can tell you about some of the different styles in which a koi fish can come in. The first color variety that was established and perfected by the Japanese in the early 19th century was the Kohaku. This fish is a white with beautiful overlaying red patterns with many shapes and sizes. Usually if there are any other colors present on the fish it can be called a pure khoaku. Like all koi the body shape and fin size appearance most be of superior quality before color and patters can be established. The best quality kohaku of course have brilliant red markings, which are called Hi by the Japanese. In a show fish these markings should never extend past the nostrils, fins, or any other lateral line. The edges should be sharp and show no signs of fading or blending. By finding the perfect Koharku just keep in mind that there most be a good distribution and intensity of the Hi. Taisho sanke first appeared in the early 1900s. Some believe that the color variety is a product of the Kohaku and the Magoi bred together to make a tri-colored fish. Usually this fish has a small portion of black pigmentation or Sumi over its body. The most favorable feature is when it has a large Sumi on its shoulder. When the Sumi appears on the head of the Taisho are not eligible for competition. Another form of the sanke is a showa, which came around in the 1927. The showa is a black koi with a Hi and white color imposed over its body. A famous Japanese koi breeder named Jukichi Hoshino discovered this unique breed. By taking a Kohaku and a Ki- Usturi he developed this strain which was further refined over the years. This unique color is now considered one of the BIG THREE in Japan. Well now that you have read some of the most common types of koi fish you might be a bit excited. Especially if you believe you might have a competition koi on your hands. Try not to get too excited because there are more koi in the running. In the next article I will tell you about the Utsuri Mono, the Bekko and many more. Eucalyptus Pure Essential Oils

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Michael Russell Eucalyptus pure essential oil is obtained from the leaves and branches of the eucalyptus tree, also known as Eucalyptus Globulus. This tree originated in Australia, where the aborigines likely discovered its medicinal properties and started experimenting with the oil. The oil is extracted through steam distillation, which used about 110 pounds of Eucalyptus tree to make 2 pounds of oil. Therapeutic Effect of Eucalyptus Essential Oil The main ingredient in eucalyptus essential oil is eucalyptol. This main ingredient, eucalyptol, has very strong germicidal and disinfectant properties. On a psychological level, it helps to relieve exhaustion and mental sluggishness. There are certain conditions, which it is said eucalyptus oil can be of a great benefit. The following are a few of the conditions. It is known to suppress coughs. You can make a chest compress with eucalyptus and massage into the chest. This will help to loosen up the congestion. I personally know of a gentleman who has a congestive cough, meaning it is always there and he has not been able to get rid of it. He bought some eucalyptus oil, and started diffusing it in the air using his potpourri pot. It only took a few days, and his cough was gone. He has also noticed, when he does not use the oil, the cough returns. You can also purify a sickroom. This is an excellent way of disinfecting a room where someone is, or has been sick. Just diffuse some oil into the air, and the germicidal properties will kill the germs in the air, giving you a clean room with clean air. Excellent for the wintertime, when it is more difficult to air out the house. It may help with just your well-being. Just apply some eucalyptus oil to your pulse or pressure points and massage. There are only certain essential oils, which can be placed directly on the skin. Eucalyptus oil is one of them. It has also been known to help with infections. Just apply some eucalyptus oil to the bandage, or gauze, and wrap the wound with it. Once again, the main ingredient, eucalyptol, has very strong germicidal and disinfectant properties Last, but not least, it has been used to get rid of dandruff. Simply mix 10 drops of eucalyptus oil with your shampoo. As a side note, you should also use an all-natural shampoo. This will also help with the dandruff. When looking for eucalyptus oil, ensure you buy from a reputable company. You should absolutely ensure the oils you are buying or using are “pure essential oils”. This means the oil has been extracted in the safest and most efficient means, without affecting the therapeutic properties of the oil itself. You should try to buy organic as well. Although, this can be misleading, as most of the oils are organic, since they are found in the wild. It also means the oil is 100% oil, and nothing has been added to the oil. Just remember, only buy pure essential oils, and you can enjoy many of the benefits listed above. ——————————————————- Michael Russell Your Independent guide to Aromatherapy ——————————————————- Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Michael_Russell http://EzineArticles.com/?Eucalyptus-Pure-Essential-Oils&id=113562 order phentermine no prescription cheap phentermine online no prescription top pharmacy phentermine phentermine diet pills without a prescription

Diet Preparation, Part II–Why Do We Need Sleep?

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

By Mark Fuqua The first article in this series stressed the importance of being prepared to begin any weight loss program. Without proper diet preparation, you will set yourself up for weight loss failure instead of success. This entire series deals with diet preparation as it relates to sleep and stress. If you are in a stressful period in your life, you probably aren’t getting enough sleep. Or the sleep you are getting isn’t the kind of sleep that is doing for the body what a good night’s sleep is supposed to do. If you aren’t getting good sleep, your body will suffer, particularly if you are trying to lose weight. The American Insomnia Assocition (AIA) states that insomnia is defined as trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. Different types of insomnia include: * Acute / Transient Insomnia Lasts from one night to a few weeks and is often caused by a temporary situation in a person’s life, such as an argument with a loved one, a brief medical illness, or jet lag. * Intermittent Insomnia Occurs on and off and most commonly in people who are temporarily experiencing: stress, environmental noise, extreme temperatures, changes in the surrounding environment, sleep/wake schedule problems such as those due to jet lag, or medication side effects. * Chronic insomnia Occurs on most nights and lasts a month or more (sometimes years). Chronic insomnia can be secondary to causes such as medical, physical or psychological conditions, sleep disorders (i.e., sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, etc.), medications or other substances. Any of the above sound familiar? You see, the importance of sleep is emphasized by the effects of sleep deprivation. Coordination, judgment, reaction time and social functions will likely be harmed by lack of sleep. When you dont get enough sleep, several things can occur: * Impaired memory: Drowsiness during the day interferes with your brains ability to concentrate, learn and remember things. * Physical impairment: Simple tasks may prove more difficult to perform and complex tasks may become seemingly impossible. * Emotional response: You may become anxious, moody, and impatient, and notice increased difficulties during interaction and cooperation with others. Well, it’s not we who typically notice that we are difficult to get along with, but everyone around us sure notices it. * Particularly as it relates to successful weight loss, sleep helps the body restore and rejuvenate in many different ways including: * Memory, Learning and Social Processes Sleep enables the brain to encode new information and store it properly. REM sleep activates the parts of the brain that control learning. The parts of the brain that control emotions, decision-making and social interactions slow down dramatically during sleep, allowing optimal performance when awake. * Nervous System Some sleep experts suggest that neurons used during the day repair themselves during sleep. When we experience sleep deprivation, neurons become unable to perform effectively and the nervous system is impaired. * Immune System Similarly, sleep also enables the immune system to function effectively. During deep sleep, the bodys cells increase production while proteins break down at a slower rate. Without proper sleep, the immune system becomes weak and the body becomes more vulnerable to infection and disease. * Growth and Development Children need much more sleep than adults. Growth hormones are released during sleep, so sleep is vital to proper physical and mental development. The effects (positive and negative) of sleep for babies and children are magnified. Tired children are often cranky, fussy and become easily frustrated and difficult. It is often easier for adults to interpret and remedy the effects of tiredness in children than for them to listen to their bodys own signals for more rest. Well even if you aren’t a medical doctor or a member of the AIA, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this one out does it? If you really want to lose the weight, you have to establish healthy sleep patterns and ways to deal with stress. Don’t forget to look for the next article in this series. In that article, Part III, I will give you tangible and easy ways for you to get the sleep you need and establish those healthy patterns. Until then. . . . Cheers! to your weight loss success! P.S. Handmade Quilts are Made with Love and Make Great Family Heirlooms!

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

By Chris Rodriguez Today’s handmade quilts are more like a work of art than a bed cover. With all the wonderfully artistic quilt patterns available to quilters today, we are beginning to see some absolutely breathtaking quilts glowing with character and personality. If you are lucky enough, hopefully someone will give you a handmade quilt that you can enjoy and pass on to your children. When I hear the word “quilt”, I think of the colorful patchwork quilt draped across my Grandmother’s bed. Her quilt consisted of a well thought out arrangement of bright colors and shapes that she had cut out from leftover fabric remnants. All the patchwork pieces were lovingly sewn together into a one-of-a-kind pattern creating a quilt that even today continues to add a cheerful traditional charm to my own bedroom. My Grandmother’s handmade patchwork quilt is now a beautiful family heirloom that will be cherished by many generations to come. If you don’t have a beautiful patchwork quilt to pass on as a family heirloom, there are many quilt kits available to you. This way you can make your own quilt instead of buying one and it will have more sentimental value to your loved ones as it was handmade by you! If a handmade patchwork quilt is absolutely out of the question for you, don’t despair as there are plenty of quilts available at linen shops or through online retailers. You may even be able to find a beautiful handmade bed quilt at an auction, flea market, or local bazaar. Whatever kind of quilt appeals to you is going to look stunning draped across your own bed. The unique look and textures of each quilt will add a traditional, charming look to your decor. You can find these colorful bed covers in a wide array of sizes too. There are baby quilts for your little one’s crib, and child size quilts for your child’s room. Many of these beautiful home-made quilts are so stunning, that they are worthy to be hung on a feature wall. Hours and hours of time are put into the making of a typical quilt, so the next time you are given one as a gift, be sure to show your appreciation. Check the internet for a variety of quilts, some handmade and others machine made. Or maybe you prefer to make your own quilt with one of the many quilt patterns or quilt kits available. Whatever you choose to do, your quilt will be a fabulous and charming addition to any home! NDAs - Review Checklist

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

By Jean Sifleet NDAs (non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements) are documents commonly used to prevent unauthorized use of business information. Disclosing important information to prospective customers, suppliers or investors is a common business dilemma, because: - The disclosing party fears being ripped off - that the information will be used without compensation. - The receiving party fears that it may have similar work underway and does not want to be accused of pirating someone’s ideas. What should you look for before signing a NDA? 1. Who are the parties? The agreement should clearly identify the name, entity, address, and jurisdiction of the parties. 2. Is the agreement mutual? Does the agreement cover both parties or does it only cover disclosures by one party? 3. What is the purpose of the agreement? The agreement should specify the purpose of the disclosure. Is it background information for the purpose of developing a business relationship? Is it part of another agreement? 4. What information is covered? Confidential information is usually broadly defined to include any and all information whether oral or in writing. It is important that information be marked confidential and that oral disclosures are reduced to writing and marked confidential in a timely manner. 5. What information is excluded? NDAs exclude information that was already known prior to the date of the agreement if documented in written records; in the public domain; rightfully received from another source; or developed independent of this disclosure as evidenced by written records. 6. What safeguards are required? The agreement should specify procedures for protecting the confidential information. It should state under what circumstances it can be disclosed to employees or other parties. 7. What is the term of the agreement? How long is the agreement effective? Is it one year? Three years? Or, is it of indefinite duration? 8. What are the termination provisions? How is the agreement terminated? How is the confidential information handled in the event of termination? Is it destroyed? Returned? How will it be accounted for? 9. What does it say about intellectual property rights? Usually, NDAs specify that neither party acquires any intellectual property rights under the agreement, other than the limited rights to carry out the specified purpose. The agreement should say, No right or license, express or implied, is granted in connection with any Confidential Information disclosed pursuant to this Agreement and No commercial use is allowed without prior written consent. 10. Does it address similar work in progress? Sometimes NDAs say that each party acknowledges that the other is developing and acquiring similar technology and that nothing in this agreement precludes the receiving party from developing similar technology without obligation to the discloser provided it does not use the disclosers confidential information. 11. Does it address derivative work? Sometimes NDAs say that in the event that either party develops new information or data as a result of the work carried out, that party shall have the right to use or publish that new information, with the prior written consent of the other party. 12. Is the existence of the agreement confidential? Sometimes the agreement specifies that neither party shall make any public announcement or disclosure of this agreement without the prior written consent of the other party. 13. Are there any warranties? Usually a NDA says that the disclosing party is authorized to make the disclosure, but that there are no other warranties. 14. What happens in the event of breach? NDAs frequently call for injunctive relief in addition to any and all remedies at law. This means that a party can seek a court order prohibiting use of its information in violation of the agreement. Unfortunately, for most business disputes, going to court is not an effective remedy because it is costly and the outcome is unpredictable. For business disputes, mediation and arbitration before a neutral party experienced in business matters is a faster and more cost effective way to resolve disputes. 15. Governing laws and jurisdiction? If both parties are located in the same state, the choice of law and the location for the dispute resolution proceeding is easy. Frequently, however, the parties are located in difference states or countries and hence it can be contentious which law applies. To prevent one party from having the home court advantage, I recommend a mutually inconvenient location that is business friendly such as Delaware or the Netherlands. In conclusion, how confidential information is disclosed is important. Sufficient information needs to be disclosed to persuade the other party to proceed. Disclosing too much information without protection is risky. Disclosing too little information precludes the business relationship from progressing. Used effectively, NDAs protect information and facilitate business transactions. Used ineffectively, NDAs can confuse ownership rights and restrict business opportunities. Hairstyles for Curly Hair

Monday, November 19th, 2007

By Sarah Freeland If you love curls than you have a lot of hair styles that you can choose from. There are curly hairstyles for short hair, medium length hair, long hair, formal occasions and informal occasions. While there are a lot of great curly hairstyles that you can choose from, if you dont manage your curls properly then they can get out of control and ruin the look of your hairstyle. To manage your curly hair style or your wavy hair style then you will want to select the right hair care products. There are four basic curly hair products that you will want to use. First you will want to use a shampoo that is designed to enhance your curls, waves and shine and that also reduces frizz. The second hair care product that you will want to use is a conditioner that is formulated to reduce frizz and boost your hairs shine. The third curly hair product that you will want to use is a curl enhancer. The curl enhancer will tighten your natural curl without making your hair frizzy. The final hair care product that you will want to use to create a great curly or wavy hairstyle is a curl controller. This product will be applied to dry hair. It will define individual curls and make your curl last longer without frizzing out. When styling your curly or wavy hair you will want to use a comb or a pick. It is not a good idea to use a brush, as brushes make your curly hair frizz out. To create loose curls you can scrunch your hair as it dries or use a large hot roller. For tighter curls you can wrap your hair around a pencil and dry it with a diffuser, you can use smaller hot roller, or you can use a small barrel curling iron. Finish off your style using the right curl enhancing and defining products and/or hairspray. Searching for a qualified hair stylist in Utah to fit your beauty needs? Are You My Soul Mate?

Saturday, November 17th, 2007

By Dorothy Thompson Im always dumbfounded when someone walks up to me and declares that they either have not found their soul mate or says, There are no soul mates out there for me. Obviously, they dont know how to look for the signs or how to read them once they do find them. There are millions, maybe even trillions, of people in the world who have soul mates, and there are clues within these soul mate relationships which could help you find yours. I am going to explain these clues so that you will find your soul mate(s), too. Sign #1: Spiritual intuition You see a nice looking fellow standing in line at the grocery store who has such spark and charisma and you wonder what it is about him that catches your attention. Is it his appearance? His charm? His funny way of cocking his head while conversing with the cashier? You want to learn more about him. You have this pull towards him, yet you do nothing. You leaf through a magazine, appearing to be invisible, yet you yearn to walk right up to the stranger and introduce yourself. By the time you have found the nerve, he has checked out and is on his way to his car (and out of your life!). What was that, you wonder? That was one of your soul mates that you just let get away. How do I know that? Spiritual intuition is the number one sign to look for when confronting a possible soul mate. It is your innerself bonding with the spiritual insides of another. The bond is invisible, yet it lies deep within you and cannot be mistaken. It is that strong pull you feel towards another. Unfortunately, if you dont take action when this happens, you will let your possible soul mate get away and you will have destroyed what could have been a long, happy relationship. Clue #2: Positive karma Janice works long hours at the newspaper office after the breakup of her long eighteen-year marriage to Matt, an abusive alcoholic who didnt have anything better to do than knock Janice and their three kids around when he was on his drinking sprees. To ease the pain, she works constantly, keeping her mind off her past and providing a comfortable living for her and her three children. She has succeeded in getting rid of the negativity in her life and is working on the positive. Matt, a divorcee, also, can be found working alongside her most days, trying to make deadlines and shielding himself from the memories of his own troubled marriage. Neither dates, but feels comfortable in maintaining a friendly relationship with one another in the safety of their work environment. Is this a soul mate union bound to happen? Both are emitting positive karma towards the other and, yes, a soul mate bond is, most definitely, in the future. This is an example of the karmic soul mate relationship. All signs look good towards it becoming more, but meanwhile what they have is one of the richest relationships you could ask for. Friendsclose friendsare one of the most important of the soul mate relationships out there. This is the bond that ties two perfectly ordinary people together with no strings attached. What other kind of relationship allows you to do what you want, when you want, with no questions asked? Will this relationship turn into something more? It is very possible that, over time, once everyone has healed from past relationships, Janice and Matt will find out that being friends is the first requisite to finding lifelong commitment, if that is what they are both looking for. Only time will tell, but dont ignore these close relationships. They are necessary for your happiness, well-being, and your search for self-fulfillment. Clue #3: Being in the right place at the right time They say timing is everything and it couldnt be truer than for the soul mate relationship. Melissa was a college student studying for her law degree, something she wanted more than life itself. Jeff was a student at the same college aiming for a degree in anthropology that was taking too long to acquire, in his opinion, but he was determined he was going to have that piece of paper if it took a lifetime to acquire. While both took classes at the same school, they would frequently find themselves at the same social functions and parties. While there was an evident spark whenever the two were around each other, both had their hearts set on their own goals of finishing college and starting with their career plans before settling into cozy relationships. In essence, they were still looking for their own self-fulfillment before they could be available to fulfill others. Five years after Melissa graduated and was comfortably situated into her own practice, she had the surprise of her life when Jeff happened to walk into her law office asking for advice. Imagine his surprise when he found out this was the same Melissa that he had a secret crush on all those years! Im happy to report that Melissa and Jeff picked up right where they left off, as if time had never passed. Next June, there will be a formal wedding and a reception held at the same college where they both met. Sometimes you have to remember that even though your potential soul mate might cross your path at some point in time, there may be extenuating circumstances which will prevent the union from happening, but when the time is right and everything falls into place, it will happen. Patience is a virtue and when the signs all point to go, nothing can be more fulfilling than the soul mate relationship. Online Dating The Art of Selection

Friday, November 16th, 2007

By Naim A Samad Dating manuals thick as telephone directories can be written on the subject of selecting the right dating partner. The key to the selection process is not to focus on our potential dating partner, but to focus on our ingrained human instincts. What are these human instincts? Imagination and desire are our enemies! As we approach dating relationships from our own point of view, many individuals fall short in reaching their goals. There are countless reasons why most individuals finish in last place when commencing to build healthy dating relationships. Imagination and desire will cripple a dating relationship before the relationship starts, and before you know it, you are right back at the starting gate with a new dating partner or wish you were! Beginning the dating process, we often focus on what we want in our dating partner and not his/her present composition. Captive is our rational self by our imagination and blinded by desire. The moment we are introduced to someone, or view some photos, profiles or personal ads online we immediately enter an imaginary world, especially if he/she is physically attractive. It is our own little world constructed by our imagination; at this point, we lose all sense of reality. Reality is what exists now and imagination is what we want to exist, which is the total opposite. Our reliant on our intoxicated senses, intoxicated by imagination and desire leads us into total darkness. As a result, our objectivity fades away into the background. This unreal portrayal depicts a fictional fairytale hero that originates from the desire to realize the storybook romance. On the surface, the storybook romance syndrome appears to be harmless. When individuals attempt to convert their imagination into a dating reality, total destruction visits the dating relationship, leaving the residue of psychological devastation behind. The storybook romance syndrome has defaced the truth about dating relationships, retarding them from ever having a chance of realizing success. To achieve a blissful dating relationship with the hope of achieving a long lasting marriage, you must not select a dating partner based on your imagination. You must remain focused on reality; you must also focus on objectivity and not subjectivity. In the absence of an objective criteria to resort to in selecting your dating partner; your only alternative is to turn to a sincere, trusted family member or friend for help in the selection process.
